AT HOME
Take on the #YOURCAKE Challenge at home! Invite your supporters for a tea/coffee and a slice of your delicious #YOURCAKE creation. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with people that also want to make a difference to the lives of young people with high care needs and their families.
For some healthy competition, nominate friends, family members and neighbours to accept the #YOURCAKE Challenge with you!
AT SCHOOL
Are you a teacher, parent or member of your school or student council? Then why not join other schools in the #YOURCAKE Challenge! It could be a challenge of teacher vs teacher, classroom vs classroom or controversially teacher vs classroom!
Fundraising for a good cause is great for students; it helps them to develop compassion, a sense of community while helping others and learning new skills.
Bake, decorate to help a mate!
We have many handy engagement tools at the Resources section to help you connect with your networks.
IN THE WORKPLACE
Challenge your colleagues to a #YOURCAKE bake-off and enjoy a nostalgic slice of cake (or a few!) whilst raising vital funds for the thousands of young people across Australia with high care needs.
Engage in friendly competition between managers, departments or work teams! Go that step further and ask your employer to support fundraising efforts by matching the funds raised dollar-for-dollar.
Why not involve your customers to join in the #YOURCAKE Challenge, it’s a great way to reach your Corporate Social Responsibility goals and spread the awareness of Youngcare.
You’ll be part of something that’s creative, reminiscent, engaging with your networks, collecting vital funds whilst spreading the Youngcare cause and the opportunity to enjoy delicious cake!
